CPE, AIKCU, KDE, SAALCK and The Center for Rural Development have once again joined forces to sponsor the Kentucky Convergence Conference 2010 which is scheduled for November 4th and 5th, 2010 at the METS Center in Erlanger, Kentucky.  This is the seventh consecutive year for this exciting statewide conference.  Conference themes include Information Technology, E-Learning, Library Information Services, Faculty Development and sessions that are Cross-Track involving more than one theme. We encourage both higher education and K12 to present and participate.

metsmap_smThe Kentucky Convergence Conference will be held at Greater Cincinnati's premiere high-tech conference center, the Northern Kentucky University Metropolitan Education and Training Services (METS) Center . Located just four minutes from the Greater Cincinnati International Airport (CVG), and 1/4 mile from I-275 in Erlanger, Kentucky's Circleport Office Park, The METS Center is at the hub of business in the Greater Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area. There are several hotels in the immediate vicinity (including two within walking distance,) and downtown Cincinnati, Ohio is only seven miles to the north on I-71/75.

From Downtown Cincinnati
I-71/75 South to I-275 West. Take first exit (Exit No. 2 - Mineola Pike). Left turn onto Mineola Pike crossing over I-275. Right turn at second light onto Olympic Boulevard. Follow Olympic Blvd. into CIRCLEPORT Office Park past hotels to The METS Center. Parking is FREE in The METS Center’s large lot.

From the South:
I-71/75 North to I-275 West. Take first exit (Exit No. 2 - Mineola Pike). Left turn onto Mineola Pike crossing over I-275. Right turn at second light onto Olympic Blvd. Follow Olympic Blvd. into CIRCLEPORT Business Park past hotels to The METS Center. Parking is FREE in The METS Center’s large lot.

From Indiana:
I-74 to I-275 South into Kentucky. Stay on I-275, which curves East in Kentucky and go about 22 miles all the way past the Greater Cincinnati Airport until you get to Exit No. 2 - Mineola Pike. Right turn onto Mineola Pike. Then right turn at second light onto Olympic Blvd. Follow Olympic Blvd. into CIRCLEPORT Business Park past hotels to The METS Center. Parking is FREE in The METS Center’s large lot.

Keynote: Dr. Curtis Bonk -- November 4th, 2010


Curt Bonk is a former corporate controller and CPA who received his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in educational psychology from the University of Wisconsin. He is now Professor at Indiana University and adjunct in the School of Informatics. Click here to read more about him.
